Low Impact Exercise for Lipedema
As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and an ACE certified personal trainer, I know the importance of exercise in everyone's life, especially when we need to reduce swelling. I would like to share a great workout video that focuses on joint movements which will help to move lymphatic fluid in the legs for ladies with lipedema / lipoedema and lipoedeem.
The facts about lipedema still apply - lipedema adipose tissue is resistant to diet and exercise, so this workout will not reduce your lipoedema fat.
It will help your lymphatic system to move lymphatic fluid out of your legs using joint movements and the calf pump and possibly reduce swelling. If you have compression garments, you can do the workout with your garments on.
